Welcome to Mrs. Carter's classroom website! I hope you will find useful information as well as some fun links to learning games and classroom activities!

Who is Mrs. Carter?
Although this is my first year at Monroe, I have been a teacher and administrator for many years in both Texas and Idaho. I spent several years teaching at the high school and junior high level as well as in a specialized elementary school for children with disabilities, hearing impairments and gifts/talents.
I earned my bachelor's degree in both Elementary and Special Education at Boise State University. GO BRONCOS!!! And I have a master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston. GO COUGARS!
My husband, Kelly, is a high school math teacher and we have two teenage boys, Ben and Alex. I grew up in Boise and my kids have attended Boise Schools since 1998. I am thrilled to be at Monroe working with the fabulous students, parents and staff here!
